DEWC showcases proven C4ISREW Capability at AOC Europe

DEWC is reinforcing its commitment to engaging globally with the electronic warfare (EW) community through the attendance of Chief Executive Officer Allan Dundas at the AOC Europe Conference in Helsinki, Finland.

The event is widely regarded as Europe’s premier forum for EW and electromagnetic spectrum operations, bringing together defence organisations, industry leaders and government stakeholders from across the region.

For DEWC, Al’s presence at AOC Europe reflects a deliberate and thoughtful approach to understanding European operational requirements and building relationships within a complex and evolving defence environment.

β€œAOC Europe is one of the most important gatherings on the global EW calendar,” Dundas said.

β€œFor DEWC, this is about listening, learning and understanding where our capabilities can contribute meaningfully to European defence priorities.”

Over more than a decade, DEWC has established itself as a trusted Defence capability partner, delivering specialist engineering expertise and advancing sovereign capability across the C4ISREW domain, including electronic warfare, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance. With deep roots in the Australian defence ecosystem, the company’s work spans capability development, operational support, testing and evaluation activities focused on delivering effective outcomes in contested and congested electromagnetic spectrum environments.

The Helsinki conference comes at a time when European nations are placing renewed emphasis on electromagnetic spectrum superiority, resilience and interoperability. Dundas noted that while operating environments differ by region, the core EW challenges are increasingly shared.

β€œWhether you are operating in the Indo-Pacific or Europe, the fundamentals of EW are converging,” he said. β€œThreats are more adaptive, the spectrum is more congested, and the need for realistic testing and training has never been higher.”

Dundas emphasised that active participation in forums like AOC Europe is a key part of understanding regional requirements and identifying where DEWC’s capabilities can best contribute.

β€œWe take a long-term view,” he said. β€œShowing up matters. It demonstrates that we’re serious about understanding local needs, building trust and identifying where collaboration makes sense rather than assuming one-size-fits-all solutions.”

For DEWC, attendance at AOC Europe represents more than visibility. It is a practical signal of intent: to engage with allies, contribute expertise and explore opportunities where the company’s proven C4ISREW capabilities align with European priorities, thoughtfully, credibly and with purpose.
